This week's middle council meeting has been put off until next week because of our field trip- and conferences. The proposals we got for last week were a lock in (we got 2 lock-in proposals!) and a Geek Night proposal, and it's not too lat for more! Earlier today you probably found out, one way or another, that a earthquake has hit Japan and Hawaii that resulted in a tsunami. As flashy and revolutionary as a lock in might be, I don't think that there would be any better use of a middle council meeting than to raise some money to help fix some broken ends. My goal is to come in on Monday with a fundraising-oriented proposal. I would love to hear your ideas, be as creative as you want- can anyone figure out how to incorporate fundraising into your favorite event? (maybe even a lock-in (-: )
